Like others have said, my experience with the folder is that it is actually a tighter fit. There is a slight gap, but I believe a gap exists between the gas block and the furniture on all stocks; and the gap will vary.The bottom line is your LGS will only sell "Ct legal" mini 14's & 30's. There are versions of the Mini 14's that are NO LONGER Ct legal.
