Its a really good way to pull away from a group, but still keep them at range for a bit. If you steal aggro back, you can usually kill it right as it gets to you. Hunter is def not the easiest class since you gotta be aware of the pet and not getting stuck in the dead zone. Mage and priest is way easier for sure.

This is a good example of modern hardcore (and a plug for my favorite active local band). That said, for some darker or harder edged pop punk and similar genres I'll start with some obvious ones like Title Fight, The Wonder Years, The Story So Far, and Set Your Goals.
